Welcome to a part of my academic story where I decided to learn more about a subject I really love – Physics. This part talks about a big decision I made during my Bachelor’s in Physics that came from my curiosity about science back in school.
After finishing high school, I was already very interested in the mysteries of the world. This lifelong curiosity has driven my educational journey.. When I started university, I had a chance to learn more about the subjects I liked. I chose physics, chemistry, mathematics, and statistics because I thought they would help me understand the world better.
At the beginning of university, I got to do a lot of hands-on work in labs for Chemistry and Physics. I loved doing experiments and learning how things work in the real world. This made me even more excited about physics. My excitement for physics deepened, with each experiment serving as a brushstroke on the canvas of my passion. One particular experiment in Spectroscopy stands out. This experiment, where I analyzed light’s interaction with mercury vapour lamp, revealed the hidden spectrum of colors that objects contain, transforming the abstract theories of the classroom into a tangible reality before my eyes.
Something really important happened when I studied optics and classical mechanics. These subjects showed me the amazing rules that control everything around us. This changed how I thought about my studies. I also got interested in space and space missions after reading books like “The Martian” by Andy Weir, which distilled the spirit of human tenacity in the face of isolation and adversity. Survival on Mars against all odds. “A Brief History of Time” by Stephen Hawking, and “Cosmos” by Carl Sagan, exploring cosmos’ wonders through science and contemplation.
During this time, I also made some really good friends who loved math, chemistry, and microbiology. We learned together and helped each other, and this friendship made my journey even better.
All of these experiences made me decide that physics is the right path for me. It’s a subject where my curiosity meets the amazing laws of the universe. I want to learn, discover new things, and make a difference. This decision shows how much I really want to learn and find new things.
